Tier3 equipment.

This is meant for new and advanced players, not for the high level ones. Welll, maybe you want to read the last part about pri and vitality.

You can advance tier2 to tier3 equipment in the Smithy. You need a 5* item of tier2 what will be forged to a 1* tier3 item. Open the Smithy, click the button 'Gear Sets'. Click 'Forge'. On the right side all 5* items which are NOT equipped will appear.

The green attributes will remain, most of the time a little enhanced, but the extra skill will disappear. Instead, you now get set effects. For a 2-piece set or a 4-piece set equipped.

Also, most of the time you will loose some levels of the item when forging. See picture. The Elemental core which you need for forging, is available in the Miracle Shop or during the Spin event in the Smith's Shop.

Once you have tier3 equipment, use 'Ascend' here to level it up. Again: during the event, those materials are available in the Smith's Shop. And you can earn Ancient Stones in the Ruins of Miracles. With these stones you can buy the materials in the Miracle Shop.

Of course, the higher the level the more expensive. So by then, it might be worth to have noted down in which monthes the events with x3 rewards in shops happen. And then wait with buying in the Miracle Shop, because you can do many buys then.

Now,  when you look at the attributes, you see an orange one. Called: the prefix attribute. This can have 4 values: Enchanted, Polished, Tough or Heavy. The percentage varies random between 8% and 24%. It is widely assumed that 'Enchanted' would be the best value. You can change the prefix attribute by using here 'Convert'. However, that costs Gaia Mica, increasing with every new try. Not mentioning the gold. So it can cost you VERY much Gaia Mica before you have 'Enchanted' and then still have to hope for a high %. So I would advise to maybe try it 2 or 3 times and then stop. You need the Gaia Mica much more to level your equipment.

How to make pri gear.

For Strength, Agility and Vitality you only have 1 set of items to forge into tier3. Intelligence however, has 2 sets to forge, and 1 of them is into pri gear. (pri as of: primary)

For evolve, I keep track in excel how many items I have and I copy here now the part for intelligence items.

As you can see, the highlighted items are becoming pri gear after forging, the other ones stay int. Remember them or mark this blog into your favorites.

Back then I had a discussion whether every hero should now get pri gear. The overall conclusion was that 2 sets should do. Now, however, I notice a lot of high level players wanting 4 sets of pri with 1 set of int. So I am working on my 3th set now.

Why do they want more pri sets? Well, that is quite obvious caused by the 4-piece set effect: "All allies primary attributes are increased by 10%/12%/15% (10% for 1* gear, 12% for 2*, 15% for 3* and higher) and they get 30 points of energy every 3 seconds." So for example for me, should I have 4 sets of pri, then the agility of my Wolf goes up 60%!!! plus the 120 energy. So his agi should go up from 6.460 to 10.335! Let that sink in.

So, who is your main dps? Probably an intelligence hero. I stay with Wolf. At this moment - you never know when they change the game again - it is worth overthinking to then skip agi and str tier3 and focus on int and pri. Well, eventually you will get str and agi tier2 to 5*, so then you can forge them to tier3, but put your most efforts in the gear of your main dps and further into pri.

Vitality

Ehhh, yes, I did not mention vit here. I have a vitality set tier3 of 4*. Which I use a lot. Fighting for example in Hegemony with Bristleback as tank wit vit and the Blessing of the High Priest against a much stronger guild can give very nice effects. They tend to kill themselves. I then also have Oric with the Herald of Death in front and  Executioner in the back. So hardly any healing in the first 12 seconds, Oric is not going to die in that time, Bristleback is not going to die, and after 10 seconds, Executioner kills them at 50% of their health.

And you certainly can use vitality in the Ruins of Miracles and/or Expedition and the Dragon. I certainly would recommend 1 vitality set.

4-piece set effect: every 6 seconds the wearer gets an 8% health shield, stacks up to 5 times.

  1. Hey bojangles, great article as always :-)

    Regarding attributes:
they will get completely new values, so if you have T2 equipment close to 100%, you will lose that - unfortunately! 😡

Regarding loosing equi levels: that are at max 10 levels, at least my experience so best is to use unlevelled T2 to advance to T3. So you don’t lose material by accident

Regarding forging strategy: always try to upgrade/advance a complete set as you get rewarded during the forging event with a nice sum of always needed diamonds.

Maybe you can include these points into your article.

    Keep up the great work!

    Cheers,

    2. Ok, If I read such an article I like to have it most updated and not to read too many comments and put everything together. You still don’t have 200 suggestions here, but just imagine you had… :-) this is similar to key optimization in expedition. Either only one integrates all good additions or each reader has to do it each time she or he reads that article - but your blog your decision:-)

      Cheers,

  2. So guys, you wrote:

I have some questions, if I may...
    1. For example If I have 100% T2 item, I convert it to T3, then it can become 1% T3?
    2. Does the same goes other way? If I have very poor 5% T2, it can become 100% T3?
    3. Is there any way to change this after converting? Or do I have to Make a completely new T3 item?

    Thanks in advance
